Full Description

Embark on a tour of Giza from Cairo or Giza in an air-conditioned vehicle. Enjoy commentary from your guide as you visit ancient wonders like the Great Sphinx, Pyramids of Giza, and the Valley Temple, followed by lunch and some shopping. Pick-up from your hotel in Cairo or Giza. Visit the Step Pyramid of Djoser, the oldest surviving colossal stone structure in Egypt (2630 BC) built for King Djoser.

Next, visit Memphis, the first capital after the unification of Upper and Lower Egypt in 3100 BC. C., and see the colossal statue of Ramses II. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant and visit the Pyramids of Cheops, Chefren and Mykerinus. Next, see the Great Sphinx, a limestone statue of the mythical creature with the pharaoh’s head and the body of a lion. Explore the Valley Temple, a burial complex with a mortuary temple, and the Pyramids of Khafre. There will be free shopping time to enjoy the
experience on your own and to discuss the price directly with the sellers.

Then return to your accommodation in Cairo or Giza.
